Synopsis: ESPN Perfiles is an award winning original production which profiles legendary Latin American athletes following the documentary style format used by ESPN SportsCentury. Each month the half hour show examines the life and careers of some of the world’s top athletes. The format of the show combines an in depth interview with the athlete together with support interviews with teammates, rivals, family members and expert journalists. The show relies on archival photos and video to help tell the story. The result is a 30 minute show which covers the triumphs and tragedies of the person both on and off the playing field providing a compelling portrait.
