ESPN2’s French Open Audience Grows 24%

ESPN2’s 51 hours of French Open coverage averaged 397,000 homes, an increase of 24% over 2007 (320,000), with a 28% rise in viewers (P2+), from 364,000 impressions to 465,000. 

The 2008 data for the programming from May 25 – June 5 are based on a 0.4 rating, up 33% compared to a 0.3 last year.  ESPN2’s growth was consistent across the two weeks.  Between the two years, the 10 most-viewed telecasts include nine from 2008.

Wimbledon on ESPN2 and ESPN360.com

ESPN360.com will present the Draw Announcement for the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ brackets live Friday, June 20 at 5 a.m. ET (and available on demand thereafter).  ESPN2 and ESPN360.com’s extensive two weeks of programming from London will begin on Monday, June 23 and conclude on Sunday, July 6.
