ESPN’s NBA Draft Lottery Telecast
Highest-Rated and Most-Viewed Ever

Conference Final Game 1 Up 58 Percent

ESPN’s exclusive coverage of the 2008 NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday, March 20, earned a 2.1 rating and 2,010,000 household impressions to become the network’s highest-rated and most-viewed NBA Draft Lottery ever.  The telecast surpassed last year’s 2.0 rating and 1,858,000 households, the previous high.

 

Additionally, last night’s Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 – Detroit at Boston – averaged 4,215,000 households, an increase of 58 percent when compared to the same telecast window (Western Conference Finals Game 2 – Utah at San Antonio – 2,660,000 households) in 2007.  The corresponding 4.4 rating marked a 57 percent increase over the 2.8 rating last year.
