Brett Hurwitz Joins ESPN as
Vice President, Ad Sales Operations

Brett Hurwitz joins ESPN as vice president, ad sales operations as part of the Sales and Marketing Business Operations team, it was announced today by Lori LeBas, senior vice president, business operations and strategy.  In this position, he is responsible for operational functions within customer marketing and sales across ESPN’s multiple distribution platforms.  Hurwitz will oversee the team in charge of customer service for all media.  He will also be instrumental in improving business processes to increase client satisfaction and drive business results.  Hurwitz will also be involved in technology projects supporting the sales function.

 

“Brett’s ability to analyze and improve operations will enhance our team,” said LeBas. “He brings a depth of experience which will help us better serve our clients and fans.”

 

Prior to ESPN, Hurwitz was the vice president, commercial sales initiatives for NBC Universal (1998-2007) where he led business process improvement for the advertising sales functions across NBC Network, Cable and Internet properties and Television Stations division. He gained additional experience during stints at MRM Gillespie (1997-98) and at Nelson Communications (1996-97).

 

Hurwitz will work out of ESPN’s New York City offices.
