Stephanie Druley

Senior Coordinating Producer, NFL Studio Production

Stephanie Druley is a senior coordinating producer in the studio production department, overseeing content, planning, budgeting and staffing for ESPN's Emmy Award-winning Sunday NFL Countdown.  She is also responsible for SportsCenter features during the NFL off-season.

Druley has worked on Countdown for more than a decade and she has helped lead the popular two-hour weekly NFL preview show to three Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Weekly Studio Show category (2001, 2003 and 2007).  She started as an associate producer (1996-99) and advanced through the ranks to highlights supervisor (1999-2000), producer (2000-02) and coordinating producer (2002-05) until her recent promotion in the fall of 2005.  Today, Druley oversees every aspect of the planning, preparation and presentation of the show and works directly with the on-air personalities, as well as field and feature reporters.

A key member of the SportsCenter features unit during the NFL off-season, Druley oversaw the 10-part series in July 2006 entitled "My Wish," a collaborative effort with the Make-A-Wish Foundation that chronicled the granting of unique sports-related wishes for 10 children (ages 6-15) with life-threatening medical conditions.  The series involved sports teams and professional athletes, including Roger Clemens, Tedy Bruschi, Derek Jeter and Kobe Bryant.

Druley began her ESPN career in 1990 as a production assistant.  In 1993, she returned home to Houston, Texas, to work the next three years as a freelancer -- primarily for ESPN covering the NFL and NBA.  She returned to ESPN full-time in 1996.

Druley is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a bachelor of journalism degree.
