ESPN will celebrate Women’s History Month by sharing many empowering and inspirational stories of young female athletes through a cross-platform initiative, culminating with a one-hour special, Her Story, on Friday, March 27, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.  This one hour special will offer a contemporary look at some of the young female athletes who are writing the history of their sports today.  Read more... 

ESPN Radio Personalities Featured in ESPNEWS’ All-Female “Aircheck” Recognizing Women’s History Month


On March 26, ESPNEWS’ “Aircheck,” the 6:30 p.m. M-F segment featuring ESPN Radio affiliate reporters and hosts debating the day’s big stories, will present a special all-female “Aircheck” celebrating Women's History Month.  Along with discussing topical issues, host Reischia Canidate and Kelly Webster (103.3 FM Dallas, reporter/ anchor), Meredith Markovits (950 ESPN Philadelphia, reporter) and Anita Marks (105.7 The Fan Baltimore, mid-day host) will debate which woman presently is the most influential sports figure.

The March 23 issue of ESPN The Magazine cover story focused on WNBA star Candace Parker, accompanied by an in-depth look at concussions in young girls, complementing the OTL feature.
