“My Wish” is presented by ESPN, in cooperation with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and The Walt Disney Company.  As part of the series, ESPN will help grant sports-related wishes with leading sports stars to five children referred by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

SportsCenter “My Wish” Series Returns

For the third straight year, ESPN’s critically acclaimed SportsCenter’s “My Wish” series, which chronicles sports-themed wishes granted to children with life-threatening medical conditions, will be aired June 29, through July 3.

Season Two - 2007

The five “My Wish” episodes will feature 2006 NASCAR Nextel Cup champion Jimmie Johnson, all-pro quarterback Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, 2006 NBA Finals MVP Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, all-star slugger David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox and Olympic figure skating champion Michelle Kwan.  Emmy Award-winning reporter Chris Connelly will again host.

Inaugural Season - 2006

“My Wish” first aired in 2006 (July 9 – July 23).  The series has offered an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at the wish-granting experience and featured the wish children participating in sports-related activities with their favorite athletes or teams such as Yankees captain Derek Jeter, Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi.
