Details for
Tuesday, May 13 show

E:60 is ESPN’s first prime-time, multi-subject news magazine shot in high definition and dedicated to cutting-edge sports journalism.  A team of award-winning correspondents -- (l t r) Tom Farrey, Lisa Salters, Jeremy Schaap, Rachel Nichols and Michael Smith -- will bring the pages of The Magazine to life with a well-paced, unique blend of behind-the-scenes footage complementing ESPN’s high standards of investigative long-form journalism, storytelling and production.

Why the Name E:60?

"E:60" reflects the show's philosophy to approach its storytelling from all angles -- from the way it shoots interviews, inserts reporter-producer meetings in the narratives, chronicles reporters' experiences and tells compelling stories, to the multimedia platforms that will deliver E:60's high-quality content.  E:60 is the television and online news magazine where in-depth treatment of the best stories in sports comes full circle.

When and Where Can We See E:60?

Following its debut October 16, three additional one-hour episodes will be aired on consecutive Tuesdays on ESPN.  E:60 content will also be distributed across various ESPN media platforms – ESPN.com, ESPN The Magazine, ESPN International, Mobile Publishing, Mobile TV and podcasts.  The series will return for five weeks in April 2008 and six weeks in June 2008 (15 one-hour original episodes a year).

What about Behind the Camera?

E:60 will be produced by a team of seasoned and award-winning television documentary producers.  The production team is led by Robert Wallace, an Emmy Award-winning producer with 30 years in print and television journalism.  ESPN feature producer Andy Tennant, who has earned several Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Awards, will serve as the executive producer.  Emmy Award-winning producer Robert Abbott, who oversaw ESPN's 25th anniversary programming, will be the coordinating producer.  Keith Clinkscales oversees ESPN Content Development unit which is responsible for E:60
