BASS: Acquired: On April 4, 2001, ESPN acquired the business and assets of BASS, Inc. Businesses: Bassmaster Magazine, the Bassmaster Tournament Trail and Bassmaster Classic.
ESPN Digital Center
Opened: June 7, 2004, as one of the world’s largest HD facilities at 120,000 square feet. Description: one of the most technically sophisticated television production facilities in North America that is completely outfitted as an all-encompassing digital facility. First Studio Program Televised in HD: June 7, 11 p.m. SportsCenter.
