Since joining ESPN in September of 1993, Jon Stashower has worked as SportsCenter anchor and host of both College Hoops Today and NBA Today. As a studio host, Stashower has been assigned to both the National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball. He has also worked for ESPN as a reporter at the Winter & Summer Olympics as well as for the Super Bowl and World Series. Prior to joining ESPN, Stashower worked at the Connecticut Radio Network from 1987-89 and later as the Sports Director at WELI in New Haven (1987-92). Stashower then began his career as host/anchor at WFAN Radio in New York City (1988-92) and later worked at WINS in NYC from 1992-1998. A native of Westport, Connecticut, Stashower received his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University in 1982 as a Journalism major. Stashower, born June 3, 1960 still lives in Westport, Connecticut. -30- |
