Skip Bayless

Cold Pizza & 1st and 10 Commentator

Skip Bayless joined ESPN in 2004 as a commentator on Cold Pizza, ESPN2’s weekday morning show (10 a.m.-12 p.m. ET).  A nationally respected columnist, Bayless also offers his unique opinions on ESPN’s 1st and 10 (weekdays at 4 p.m.). 

Bayless previously worked as a star columnist in Dallas, Chicago and San Jose over the last 20 years.  He also wrote in Miami and Los Angeles.  He is the author of three books chronicling three Dallas Cowboys eras.

Bayless was graduated from Vanderbilt University, which he attended on the university’s prestigious Fred Russell-Grantland Rice Sportswriting Scholarship.
