Hank Goldberg serves as an NFL reporter on a variety of ESPN programs. He first joined ESPN2 as football analyst on its flagship sports news program SportsNight when the new network launched Oct. 1, 1993. He has also been a frequent contributor on ESPN Sports Radio since June 1992. In his first year as ESPN2's pigskin prognosticator, Goldberg was accurate 61% during the regular season (33-21). Along with analyzing games, Goldberg is known as "Hammerin' Hank" for his tough opinion on topical issues. Goldberg continues to host all-sports radio WQAM's afternoon drivetime (4-7 p.m.) program, Hammer Time, which he started in 1992. He also works for the Beber Silverstein ad agency in Miami where he began in 1966. Prior to joining ESPN2, Goldberg was play-by-play commentator for the Miami Dolphins flagship radio network WIOD-AM (1978-91) and anchor of WTVJ-TV's Sports Final (1982-93). Previously, Goldberg worked for the Benton Bowles ad agency in New York (1963-68). Goldberg attended Duke University and is a graduate of New York University. -30- |
