Stacey Dales joined ESPN as a women’s college basketball studio analyst in the 2002-03 season. Fresh from leading the Oklahoma Sooners to the 2002 NCAA Championship game, Dales joined ESPN for its previously unprecedented coverage of all 63 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament games. The two-time All-American added college football and basketball sideline reporting duties to her assignments in 2004-05 season.

Dales is also a member of the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. She was the third pick overall in the 2002 WNBA Draft and was a WNBA All-Star in her rookie season. Dales-Schuman’s fresh and contemporary perspective has earned critical acclaim, including a citation in USA Today as televised sports “Rookie Analyst of the Year” in 2003.

Widely known for her on and off-the-court leadership skills, Dales scored 18 points in the 2002 NCAA Championship, won by the University of Connecticut. A member of the Canadian National Women’s Team (1999-2003), Dales has represented her country in the Pan Am Games in 1999 and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

In 2002, Dales graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
