In 1998, Guillermo F. Tabanera was named Vice President and General Manager for ESPN Sur, S.R.L. Tabanera is responsible for the ESPN operations in the Southern Cone in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, and Bolivia. He is also responsible for ESPN Sur P&L and development of the strategies related to the core business, Advertising Sales, Affiliate Sales, and Programming. He is based in Buenos Aires and reports directly to Russell Wolff, Managing Director, ESPN International. Prior to being named Vice President and General Manager of ESPN Sur, Tabanera served as Programming and Events Director of ESPN Sur from 1996 to 1998. He was responsible for the implementation and development of the Programming strategy of ESPN Sur. Besides handling the Programming purchase for the Sur area and occasionally for ESPN Latin America, Tabanera was responsible for the budget of rights and production, and forecast follow up. In addition, Tabanera served as Acquisitions Programming Manager for Telesport S.A. from 1993 to 1996 where he was responsible for the product Rugby. In 1978, Tabanera graduated from Champagnat Bilingual School with a Bachelor degree. Later, he earned a Lawyer and Procurator degree at University of Buenos Aires in 1986. He was also a professor of Commercial Law II & Corporations at University of Buenos Aires from 1987 to 1991. Guillermo Tabanera, Argentine national, is fluent in Spanish and English. -30-
